Hello and welcome to November!
I always feel November is such a quick month, don't you? It seems there is something to do every weekend, and before you know it, the month is over! My mom works in a school so she always gets two extra days off the second week of November, and this year we are spending those two days Christmas shopping and cleaning her house. I am also busy prepping for Thanksgiving this year. My grandma and I used to bake pies from scratch together every year, and since her passing, I have been handed the baton. This year I decided to try to make mini pies, with six different fillings so that there is a kind for everyone. I will also be making homemade ice cream and some cookies, the kind yet to be determined! Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?

This year is the first year I have enough room for a Thanksgiving cross stitch display, and I had so much fun with it! I'll be posting a picture giving a tour of it to my Instagram (@ladybug.stitches) in a couple days, so stay tuned for that.
Since this is my first Thanksgiving display, I knew I wanted to make something special for it, so I designed two little patterns and finished them into little pillows.
And the best part is ... I'm adding them as little freebies for you! This is my way of saying thank you for how amazing you all are in this stitching community!
Here is the first freebie - "Grateful."
