Snowman Supplies Cube

 Hello again everyone!

Today I am going to talk about the last of the four cubes that I released in July 2023. This cube is called "Snowman Supplies" and is available for download in my Etsy shop.

This cube features all the supplies you will need to make a snowman when the next blizzard comes your way. I always loved making snowmen with my dad as a kid, though I wish we had done it more often. My brothers, dad, and I used to sleigh ride and build forts more than we built snowmen, and I will always have such fond memories of this time. My favorite thing was hollowing out the snow pile my dad plowed up from the driveway. We would make tunnels through it and sit in there away from the wind as long as we could stand the cold.

Now let's talk about the supplies you will need to make a successful snowman!

First of all, of course, you will need snow! All good snowmen must first start with a good snowstorm. Then you will need to grab a hat and scarf for your snowman, because it can get chilly out in the wind.

Next, you will need buttons. Grab a few loose buttons from your mom's sewing stash and scamper out the door. Your snowman will need to see and be able to button up his snow coat.

Then you will need some sticks for arms. These might be hard to find if you got too much snow, but you can always look at the base of trees for some spares.

And lastly, you will need a carrot for a nose. Put it all together and you have a snowman!

I can't wait to add this cube to my snowman collection in January, I think it will fit in very nicely.

This pattern uses 5 DMC colors: Blanc, 310, 349, 720, and 3862. The stitch count is 86w x 114h and finishes into a 2" cube on 14 count fabric. Perfect for all the nooks and crannies of your display!

Well that's it for me today! In the next blog post, I will be talking about my first large cube, which I listed in my Etsy shop in September.

Have a great day!
